Brent was all we could have hoped for in an agent helping us find our first home. His expertise and depth of knowledge was obvious from the start, and throughout the process his insights and information proved to be indispensable. We worked with Brent for the better part of three months until we ended up with a house that is perfect for us in size, price, accommodations, and neighborhood. Along the way, Brent sent us listings updates any time something new came on the market. He was always ready to meet up with us to look at houses and help us with any questions we had about any of the properties. Never once did we feel pressure one way or another from Brent on whether or not we should offer on a house. He answered any questions we had and offered his opinion when we asked. On top of this, he would remind us that we can always keep looking when he sensed that we might be trying to talk ourselves into liking something that maybe we didn't really like. As a couple that gets antsy about shopping for an extended period of time, these reminders were welcomed. In the end, we found a great home in a great location right in our price range. I would not hesitate for one second to recommend Brent to anyone looking to buy a home.

Brent found us the house of our dreams. Wait, scratch that: we didn't even know we could dream for a house as amazing as the house that Brent helped us find. But let's start at the beginning... We found Brent through a web search for Seattle real estate professionals when we were researching our move to Seattle. His website was great (always a good sign) so we gave him a call and told him what we were looking for. Brent emailed us listings that matched our criteria and we made an appointment to meet him in person and look at a couple of the homes. At the first home, we quickly realized just how competitive the Seattle real estate market was -- and how quickly we'd need to act to get the house we wanted -- when, as Brent was showing us the home, other couples were lining up for their viewings.

Thankfully, Brent is lightning fast at emailing new listings and (here's where the 20+ years of real estate experience probably comes in) has a great gut sense of when an offer needs to be made and what the details of the offer need to be to give buyers a fighting chance in a competitive market. That first house wasn't the one. The second, third, fourth house weren't the ones either. Brent was patient as he showed us home after home, and in that process, really "got" us and what we wanted. That's how -- when the house that is now our dream house, the one we're living in today, came on the market -- he knew it was "the one" and told us we needed to see it ASAP. He was right, we made our offer, it was accepted, and the rest is history. All that plus Brent's just a cool guy, a good human being. We'd recommend him to anyone.

Working with Brent was great. We had a challenging situation with being relocated from the Boston area to Seattle but not fully moving for several months. Also, my husband was not able to come out for all house searches - only the first round and we were not sure where we wanted to buy.

After much searching and patience from Brent, we found a house. We are renting it for a few months before we complete our relo and Brent helped with that as well. Just a great guy! We met Brent while at an open house in West Seattle. He was friendly, savvy and professional. We started working with him almost immediately. Brent was extremely flexible in working around our work and family schedules to show us houses at night and on weekends. He was also very responsive by phone and email when we had questions or wanted to see a house in a short period of time. Brent was knowledgeable about electronic signing practices too which took the headache out of having to be physically present every time documents needed to be signed. We often saw houses with our 5 month-old baby in tow. Brent scheduled showings with plenty of time to take care of her along the way when needed (with feedings and diaper changes).

As well he showed us a variety of family homes in several neighborhoods - Magnolia, Queen Anne, Greenwood, West Seattle to name a few. We weren't sure if we wanted a fixer-upper or a finished home and Brent showed us several of both, explaining pros and cons of each. He was very mindful of safety features and our daughter. Overall, we had an excellent experience working with Brent who ultimately found us our family dream house. We would recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a house.

... I contacted Brent after I found his information on the web. What a great choice. My Dad is very ill and had to be placed in full time care and we needed the house to sell in order to afford all the expenses. So this was a very difficult situation as I had to make all discussions and work with crew to get the house ready. Brent recently sold our home in West Seattle. We were currently living in another state and he took care of everything VERY professionally. Contact with him between hundreds of emails and phone calls was always met with a very quick response. We had surveyed some other highly rated realtors and ultimately decided to go with him based on his demeanor and ideas about how about to market our home. We did not agree with all his suggestions, and therein lies his greatest strength. His ability to listen, discuss his own experiences, and ultimately leave the decision making to us pressure free. We were able to contact him several times a day if need be and complete everything in a timely manner.

He did a lot of small odds and ends work to save us the hassle of contracting everything out, since we were not on prem to do it ourselves. We were able to get above the asking price, which may or may not have been attributed to hot market, but nonetheless, his staging of our home was surely part of that equation. He invested a lot of time and energy to show our home in its best light and his ideas were well executed.
